Dice Kingdom (“the game”) is published by ublitz.io LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the game collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.
The short version
- You can play single-player games without giving us anything about you. Once your first session is over, the game also signs you in with an anonymous guest account, so the daily rewards, missions, friends and online play work. It never asks for a real name, a password or a phone number.
- With that account we keep a random player ID, the display name you choose, your online games, a summary of your finished single-player games, your crowns and items, your friends, the chat messages you send to friends (for 30 days), and any reports you make.
- Ads are shown by Google AdMob. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings.
- We never sell your personal information.
- You can delete your online account, and what we hold about it, from Settings (we keep only purchase records, below).
What we collect
On your device only
Your settings, career progress, collection, statistics, the replays of your last 20 games against computer rivals, and the crowns you earn offline are stored on your device. Deleting the app deletes them. We receive only what the next section lists: a summary of each finished game (never the game itself), and the crowns earned offline when they sync.
With your guest account
Once your first session (the first matches and the age check) is behind you, the game signs you in with an anonymous guest account (Firebase Authentication) when it opens Home, and whenever you use online play, the daily features, Friends or Send feedback. We then store, on Google Cloud servers:
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| A random player ID created for your guest account | To run your account and your games |
| The display name you choose (or a guest name), and your level | Shown to other players at the table, to your friends and in leagues |
| Your online rooms, matches, moves and results | To run the games fairly (the server deals the dice) |
| A summary of each single-player match, lesson and Party Cup evening you finish: the mode, the rules, the result and counts such as bids, calls and rolls | To count your daily missions, streak, Rule of the Week and Royal Deeds |
| Your progress in the daily and weekly features: missions, streak, Daily Challenge results, Herald’s Riddles, Royal Deeds, weekly leagues, the Weekend Tourney and Ranked | To run them and give their rewards |
| Your crowns, items, and the purchases and rewards that changed them | To keep your balance and restore purchases |
| Crowns your device earned offline, when it syncs | To add them to your balance (up to a daily limit) |
| Your Apple or Google purchase receipts (order ID, product, time) | To check purchases with the store and handle refunds |
| Players you block, and reports you make about other players | To keep matches safe and to review reports |
| With each report, a copy of that table: names, moves, emotes, times | So the report can be checked after the room is gone |
| When your app last connected | For the welcome back, and so friends can call you back (below) |
| Your age range (never your birth date) and where it came from | To apply the protections for younger players (below) |
What we keep about friends, chat, royal favours, watching and replays is in the next section.
We do not ask for your real name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location (the one exception is an email address you choose to give with feedback, below).
Friends, chat and watching
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Your friend code, your friends, friend requests and room invites | So you can add friends and invite them to your rooms |
| Royal favours you send and receive: who, your display name, when | To give both of you the favour’s crowns (for 3 days) |
| Which friends called you back, and when you last called each friend back | For the call-back reward and its once-a-month limit |
| Chat messages you send to friends, and when you sent them | To deliver them to your friends |
| That you accepted the chat rules, which version and when | So you can chat, and are asked again if the rules change |
| With each chat report, a copy of that conversation’s last 20 messages | So the report can be checked after the messages are gone |
| The friend’s table you are watching, if any, and your display name | So you can watch it, and its players see who watches |
| The last table you watched and when you started watching | To keep a few seconds between starts |
| Whether you let friends watch your games | So we only let them watch when you allow it |
| A replay of each online match you finish: the names at the table, every bid and call, each round’s dice, the result | So you and the others who played it can watch it again (30 days) |
- Friends. A friendship needs both players: one asks with a friend code, from a private room you both sat in, or from a recent table, and the other accepts. We never import contacts.
- Friend chat. You can send text messages to your friends: in a conversation with one friend, and at a private room’s table while everyone there is your friend. Only the people a message was sent to can read it. Our servers remove links and hide rude words before anyone sees a message, and keep the message as it was shown, with your player ID, your display name and the time. Messages are deleted 30 days after they are sent. If someone reports a message or a conversation, a copy of that conversation’s last 20 messages goes with the report, so it can be checked later (kept as reports are, below). Chat is not available to players under 13, nor in Brazil (and countries we add) to anyone whose app store has not confirmed they are an adult. We count how many messages are sent (never what they say) to keep chat working and fair.
- Royal favours are a small crowns gift between friends, once a day. A favour keeps for 3 days, opened or not, and is then deleted.
- Calling a friend back. If a friend’s app has not connected for over a week, your Friends list says so (never when they last played), and you may call them back once a month. Your friends see the same about you. A call-back may send your friend a notification with your display name, if they turned those on.
- Watching. If you allow it (Settings → Let friends watch my games, on unless you switch it off), friends of the players at your table may watch your online games (never Ranked), seeing only what every player at the table sees, never your dice before they are revealed. The players see the names of who is watching. Watching, and being watched, are off for players under 18, and in Brazil (and countries we add) for anyone whose app store has not confirmed they are an adult.
- Replays. Only the players who sat at an online match can watch its replay. Replays of games against computer rivals stay on your device (the last 20) and never reach our servers. A replay card you share names nobody: other players appear as “Player 2” and so on.
When you send us feedback
From Settings → Send feedback you can write to us. When you press Send, we receive and keep, for customer support:
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Your message (feedback text) | Customer support: to read and act on it |
| Your email address, only if you give one (players 13 and over) | Customer support: to reply to you |
| The app’s version, your system and its version, your device model, the game’s language and region | To understand and fix what you tell us |
| Your random player ID | To delete it with your account |
The page shows these details before you send. We use them only to answer and improve the game: never for ads or marketing, and your email is not added to any list. Feedback is stored on our Google Cloud servers, where no other player can read it, and only a few messages an hour can be sent from one account. We keep it for 24 months and then delete it automatically, or at once if you delete your online account.
Advertising
The game shows ads through Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob collects, by its own SDK:
- your device’s IP address (which can be used to estimate a general location),
- your device’s advertising identifier (Android advertising ID or app set ID; on iOS, the advertising identifier only if you allow tracking),
- how you interact with ads, and
- diagnostic information about the ads’ performance.
Google uses this to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. Where the law requires consent (for example in the EEA, the UK and some US states), the game asks first, through Google’s consent form; until you consent, no ad is requested there. You can change your choice from Settings → Ad privacy choices. On iOS you can also refuse tracking in the system prompt, or later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Ads are limited to content rated PG or milder.
When you choose to watch a rewarded ad, the game passes your random player ID and an ad reference to AdMob, so that Google can confirm to our server that the ad was watched and your crowns can be added.
See Google’s policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Purchases
Payments are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. We receive the purchase receipt (see the table above) and check it with Apple or Google before granting what you bought.
Notifications, if you turn them on
Notifications are off until you say yes (we ask after your first win, and you can change it any time in Settings → Notifications). If you turn them on we keep, with your random player ID:
- your device’s notification token (from Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Apple’s push service on iPhone and iPad), the game’s language, your region and time zone;
- which kinds you want: the Daily Challenge, league results, while you are away, and from friends: call-backs, room invites, royal favours and messages;
- the hours you usually open the game, so a notification comes at a time that suits you;
- when we last sent you one, so we never send more than one a day or four a week (friends’ messages are counted apart, at most one per conversation at a time);
- for friends’ notifications: the friends whose messages you muted, which conversation a message notification was for (never what was written: a notification only says who wrote), and a call-back or royal favour notification waiting for your usual hour, with your friend’s display name.
A notification from a friend names them by their display name. We use all of this only to send those notifications, never for ads or offers. Turning notifications off on a device removes its token from our servers; everything else is deleted 60 days after you last opened the game, or at once with your account. Players under 13 never get notifications, and nothing about them is kept. In Brazil (and countries we add), players under 18, and anyone whose app store has not confirmed they are an adult, are not offered notifications for now.
Game Center and Google Play Games, if you use them
If you are signed in to Game Center (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play Games (Android), the game reports the Royal Deeds you earn, and how far along you are with some of them, to Apple or Google as achievements in your account there. We do not receive your Game Center or Play Games name, ID, picture or friends. Apple and Google keep these achievements under their own privacy policies, and you can manage or delete them in their settings. The game offers their sign-in at most twice on a device, and you can sign in or not from Settings. We never sign you in or report anything if you are under 13, nor, in Brazil (and countries we add), unless your app store has confirmed you are an adult.
Crash reports and usage statistics
If the game crashes, a crash report (device model, operating system version, app version, the state of the app at the crash, and a random installation ID) may be sent to Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix the problem. We also use Firebase Analytics to learn, in aggregate, which screens are opened, how matches and career stages end, and how crowns are earned and spent, so we can balance the game. These usage statistics never include your name, your chat or room codes, and are not used for advertising. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Brazil, usage statistics are off until you allow them: the game asks you after the age question, and you can change your answer at any time in Settings → Usage statistics. Players under 18 there (in Brazil, anyone whose app store has not confirmed they are an adult) are not asked, and no usage statistics are collected from them. Elsewhere you can switch them off at any time in Settings → Usage statistics. Crash reports are separate: they are sent whatever you choose about usage statistics.
Who we share it with
- Google (Firebase and Google Cloud) hosts our servers and the guest accounts, as our service provider.
- Google AdMob shows ads, as described above.
- Apple and Google process purchases, and deliver the notifications you turn on (Firebase Cloud Messaging; Apple’s push service on iPhone and iPad). If you use Game Center or Google Play Games, they hold the achievements the game reports there.
- Other players see your display name, level, avatar and what you do at the table. In your weekly league the other players see your name and Points; the Weekend Tourney’s board shows your name and total to signed-in players; your Ranked tier and division can be seen by other players. Your friends see the requests, invites and royal favours you send them, and whether you have been away for over a week. Friends of the players at your table may watch your online games if you allow it, and the players see who is watching (“Friends, chat and watching”, above).
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising except through AdMob as described, which you can refuse.
Where it is stored
Our servers are in Google Cloud’s Singapore region (asia-southeast1). Google may process data in other countries under its own safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Your online account and its data: until you delete the account.
- Purchase records (the order ID, product, time and your player ID): for as long as tax and accounting laws require us to keep them, also after you delete your account.
- Reports, with their copies of the table or the conversation: 12 months after we review them, and 24 months after they are made if they are never reviewed. If you delete your account, the reports you made and those about you are deleted at once (below).
- Feedback, with any email address you gave: 24 months after you sent it, then it is deleted automatically. If you delete your online account first, it is deleted at once (below).
- Notification tokens and settings: until you turn notifications off on that device, 60 days after you last opened the game, or until you delete your account, whichever comes first.
- Chat messages: 30 days after they are sent, then they are deleted automatically. A copy kept with a report is kept as the report is (above).
- Royal favours (a crowns gift between friends): 3 days after they are sent, opened or not, then they are deleted automatically.
- Friend requests not answered: 30 days. Room invites: half an hour.
- Online rooms, with their moves and who is watching them: a day after the table’s last move (or sooner for a watcher who stops watching). The record of the last table you watched goes a day after that table does.
- Online match replays: 30 days after the match ends, then they are deleted automatically. Replays of games against computer rivals stay on your device (the last 20).
- Weekly league tables: 8 weeks after the week ends. Weekend Tourney boards: 4 weeks after the weekend.
- Security limits: the times your account last entered a room code that led nowhere (at most 10) and last asked us to check a purchase (at most 30). We count only the last 10 minutes and the last hour of them; older times are replaced at your next try, and the rest is deleted with your account.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account: Settings → Delete my online account. This deletes your profile, wallet (the crowns held online), cloud save, blocks, hands and seats from our servers; your progress in the daily and weekly features and Royal Deeds, and your name in league tables; your notification record and tokens; the reports you made and the reports about you; the feedback you sent (with any email address in it); your friend code, friends, friend requests and room invites (from your friends’ lists too), and your name in the call-backs of the friends you called back; the Royal favours you sent or received; and your chat messages: your conversations with a friend are deleted for both of you, and your messages at a room’s table are deleted. You also stop watching any table. Where another player’s report keeps a copy of a table you sat at, or of a conversation you wrote in, your name and player ID are removed from it and your seat or messages show “Deleted player”. In the replays of online matches you played, your name and player ID are removed (a replay nobody else played in is deleted). Purchase records are kept (above), and purchases of permanent items remain restorable from the store. You can also ask us by email (below) to delete your account: give your display name and, if you have one, your friend code (on the Friends screen), so we can find it. We delete it exactly as Settings does and tell you when it is done.
- Ads: Settings → Ad privacy choices (where available), the iOS tracking setting, or your device’s advertising ID settings. Buying Remove Ads stops between-matches ads and the banner on the menu screens.
- Watching and notifications: Settings → Let friends watch my games; Settings → Notifications (each kind has its own switch, and a conversation can be muted).
- Usage statistics: Settings → Usage statistics (in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Brazil, off until you allow them).
- Access, correction and other requests: contact us (below). Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, Brazil’s LGPD or Singapore’s PDPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or move your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority.
Your age, and children
Dice Kingdom is for players 13 and over. To keep younger players safe, the game reads the age range your app store shares (Apple’s Declared Age Range or Google Play’s age signals) or, if your store does not share one, asks your year of birth once. We keep only an age range (13–15, 16–17, 18 and over, or unknown) and where it came from, on your device and, if you play online, with your account where only you and our servers can read it. We never keep your year of birth. The age range sets protections: players under 18 see ads that are not personalised, and some features may need the store to confirm you are an adult. In Brazil, until your store confirms you are an adult, these protections apply to everyone. If usage statistics are on, the age range (but never one from Google Play) is counted with them; it is never used for advertising.
Dice Kingdom is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them: a player who says they are under 13 cannot go further, and nothing about them is sent to us. If you believe a child under 13 has played online, contact us and we will delete the account.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Server access is restricted, and each player’s hidden dice are readable only by that player.
This website
This section covers dicekingdom.app.
- Usage statistics (Google Analytics 4): only if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. It then sets cookies and sends Google which pages you view, your browser and device type and your approximate region. We do not use it for advertising. You can change your choice any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page.
- Our own counters: we count page views, taps on the store badges, opens of the get-the-game link and plays of the web Daily Challenge. They use no cookies and keep nothing that identifies you.
- The Creators form: we keep what you send (name, channel links, languages, audience size, country, email and message) to review your application, and delete it within 12 months if you do not join the programme.
- The Delete your account form: we keep what you send only until the request is done.
- Server logs: our hosting (Google Firebase Hosting) keeps standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.
Changes
We will post any change here and update the date above. Significant changes will also be shown in the game.
